PF Mechanical Engineer - Shift Operation

Overview

This role necessitates a qualified B.E. Mechanical engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience specializing in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, while strictly adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance activities within the Pyro section encompassing Kiln, IKN Cooler, VRM – Pfeiffer, and ATOX systems.
• Plan and ensure uninterrupted availability of critical spare parts to maintain operational continuity.
• Perform root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement remedial and improvement measures.
• Manage the Spare & Service (S&S) and Repair Parts Management (RPM) budgets effectively within the section.
• Optimize utilization of manpower and all available resources to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct R1/R2 and S1/S2 inspections and checks aligning with the preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain detailed equipment history records using SAP software.
• Follow ABG safety protocols, ISO standards, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) systems rigorously.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are executed in a safe manner complying with established safety standards.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting expertise.
• Proficient in SAP for maintenance management and recordkeeping.
• Good understanding of safety standards aligned with ABG, ISO, and WCM frameworks.
