Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Offal Supervisor to lead night shift operations in our lamb and beef processing unit at the Levin plant. This role involves managing efficient production workflows and supporting the day shift and beef slaughter supervision as required. The position provides a valuable opportunity to develop leadership skills, drive innovation, and adapt to changing needs within a multi-species processing environment in regional New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a production-focused team during the processing of lamb and beef offal.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards as a primary focus.
- Maintain consistent product quality to meet customer expectations.
- Manage compliance with regulatory requirements across various processing operations including boning and packing meat products.
- Oversee processes to boost department efficiency and productivity.
- Cover day shift operations and support beef slaughter supervision when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities with a safety-first mindset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to foster a positive team culture.
- Natural aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and holds high personal standards.
- Self-driven with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Competent computer skills are required.
- Previous experience in food processing is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
