Role Overview
We seek an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Technology team. This key position will steer vital technology projects that contribute to Alliance’s ongoing success. You will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget constraints, and align with business priorities.
A primary responsibility involves delivering the Primary Processing Solution, a significant initiative supporting six processing sites. Collaborating with operational leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, you will drive the implementation and adoption process, while maintaining governance, risk management, and communication throughout the project life cycle.
Primary Duties
- Manage the end-to-end execution of technology-related projects.
- Develop project plans encompassing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with business stakeholders, executives, vendors, and technical teams.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and dependencies.
- Organize steering committee sessions, workshops, and other project meetings.
- Oversee financial performance and efficient use of resources within projects.
- Ensure adherence to project governance standards and reporting protocols.
- Support change management processes to facilitate effective project outcomes.
- Promote continuous enhancements in project management practices across the enterprise.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a confident project management professional capable of integrating strategic vision with operational delivery.
- Minimum of 5 years managing IT or technology projects.
- Documented achievements in leading medium to large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, including senior and executive leadership collaboration.
- Competency in managing budgets, timelines, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Experience with ERP or business system implementations.
- Exceptional planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the capability to influence and guide interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred qualifications include a tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems or related fields; manufacturing products experience; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or Scrum.
