Job Purpose

This role involves overseeing production equipment, ensuring quality outputs, timely delivery, continuous improvement, safety, and cleanliness within the manufacturing line to produce high-quality Silicon on Insulator (SOI) and Refresh products. The goal is to facilitate smooth operations aligned with departmental and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery within assigned sections, conducting basic maintenance within a single tool set to produce superior SOI and Refresh wafers.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) meticulously to prevent non-conformities and avoid wafer scrap.
• Manage production lot flow by monitoring work-in-progress, planning output according to Master Manufacturing Plan (MMP) to minimize cycle times and fulfill daily output targets to meet customer demands.
• Ensure process stability by supervising tool performance within one process group, conducting qualification sequences to return equipment to operation post-maintenance, thereby maintaining and enhancing wafer quality.
• Perform regular control inspections, execute corrective measures when necessary, and maintain production equipment to sustain product and service quality.
• Engage in assigned improvement initiatives and training programs aimed at raising overall operational standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a NITEC certification or ‘O’/‘A’ level qualifications with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Basic proficiency in computer operations and familiarity with cleanroom procedures and protocols.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate as a team member.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts during day or night as scheduled.
