Role Overview
This position is for a Process Technician supporting semiconductor manufacturing activities in Singapore. The role centers on tool qualification, corrective action follow-up, process stability monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement work in a cleanroom production environment.
Key Duties
- Revalidate equipment after preventive or corrective maintenance by following the required qualification plans.
- Carry out OCAPs and apply process-level corrective and preventive actions when out-of-control, out-of-specification, or other abnormal process situations occur.
- Keep passdown logs current with clear and complete records of incidents, instructions, and handover details from Process Engineers or Equipment Engineers.
- Compile and share daily updates on production line condition and performance indicators, including SPC and hold lot review information.
- Own simple process steps or measurement tools when assigned.
- Contribute to, and where needed help lead, process improvement and operational improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A diploma in an engineering discipline is required, with preference for candidates from semiconductor manufacturing or materials engineering backgrounds.
- Previous experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or manufacturing within a cleanroom setting.
- Exposure to bonding, cleaning, and polishing processes will be an advantage.
- A cooperative team mindset, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn are important.
- Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SiView or JMP would be beneficial.
