Job description

Role Overview

This position involves the development, upkeep, and management of a comprehensive Operational Readiness (OR) schedule that integrates all readiness activities, milestones, and interdependencies synchronized with asset delivery timelines, trial operations, and official opening dates. This role serves as the authoritative scheduling source for the OR program, delivering timely risk visibility related to readiness milestones.

Key Duties

  • Create and sustain an integrated OR master schedule within Primavera P6 that spans all readiness streams including workforce mobilization, training, system preparation, SOP finalization, permits and licenses acquisition, FF&E/OS&E deployment, trial operations, and final handover processes.
  • Coordinate OR schedules with project milestones, stage gates, and opening deadlines, ensuring integration with PMO and delivery partner calendars.
  • Formulate countdown and T-minus schedules to support asset openings and associated trial and soft launch stages.
  • Monitor schedule adherence compared to baseline, detect delays and critical path disruptions, and escalate readiness risks offering recovery strategies.
  • Generate scheduling analytics and reports using Power BI and Excel to aid leadership and governance reviews within OR.
  • Facilitate contributions from functional leaders and compile schedule updates on a predetermined schedule.
  • Manage schedule modifications, baseline controls, and document assumptions and dependencies for transparency.
  • Assist with workforce ramp-up strategies by syncing recruitment, onboarding, and training timelines with operational readiness requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Have 5 to 8 years of experience in scheduling and planning, preferably within operational readiness, giga-projects, entertainment or hospitality project openings, or extensive infrastructure initiatives.
  • Proven practical knowledge of Primavera P6, especially in handling baseline schedules and change control for complex programs.
  • Prior experience with asset openings, trial operations, or transitions from commissioning to operations is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent will be regarded as advantageous.
