Key Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design for stormwater, wastewater, and water supply associated with land development and infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed technical engineering reports and carry out essential calculations.
• Conduct hydraulic modelling to support design proposals.
• Manage projects effectively to align with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Maintain regular client communication and provide project updates.
• Carry out construction site inspections.
• Participate actively in enhancing Awa's technical capabilities and workplace culture.

Required Skills and Experience

• Intermediate engineering experience with three to six years in practice.
• Proficient in design software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience using hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools such as HY-8, HEC-HMS, SSA, and EPANET.
• Demonstrated expertise in three waters engineering design.
• Excellent communication abilities, including report writing skills.
• Solid, well-rounded engineering background.
• Genuine interest and respect for Te Ao Māori culture and principles.
• Application of Artificial Intelligence to enhance project outcomes.
• Adaptability to work fluidly across multiple offices and collaborate with diverse teams.
