Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Forwarding & Logistics business based in Navi Mumbai, India. This leadership role entails responsibility for expanding the business, managing profits and losses, acquiring customers, attaining operational superiority, and overseeing cross-departmental teams encompassing Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement business strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and expand market presence.
• Manage the Profit & Loss statement and meet yearly business objectives.
• Handle relationships with major corporate clients and secure new customers.
• Oversee comprehensive operations in Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Logistics.
• Maintain operational excellence, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Supervise collections processes, working capital, budgeting activities, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams spanning multiple functions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Over 15 years of experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics sectors.
• Extensive expertise in P&L management and business leadership roles.
• Established network and relationships with shipping lines and airlines.
• Prior involvement with Project Logistics and handling specialized cargo is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in managing corporate accounts and driving business development.
• Strong skills in commercial operations, negotiations, and managing stakeholders.
