Experienced HDD Locator or Operator/Locator Crew

About the Role

Sub-Zone Networks Ltd is seeking seasoned HDD Locators or established Operator and Locator crews to support their expanding wastewater and stormwater projects in Auckland, New Zealand. With increasing workloads, additional drilling capacity is needed for precise wastewater and stormwater pipeline installations adhering to specific line, level, and grade requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in executing grade-critical HDD installations for wastewater and stormwater pipelines. They must be adept at planning and accurately completing bores to specified line, level, and grade while safely navigating around existing utilities and changing soil conditions. For Operator and Locator teams, comprehensive management of drilling operations—including setup, pilot boring, reaming, and product pipe pullback—is expected.

Distinguishing Factors

Applicants are encouraged to highlight one or two similar wastewater or stormwater projects they have completed, emphasizing their specific role. A formal CV is not mandatory for initial contact; actual hands-on experience is the key factor.
