About the Role
Lidl Ireland is seeking a Deputy Store Manager for its Thurles location to support daily store operations and contribute to providing an exceptional shopping experience. This role involves managing, motivating, and developing the store team while ensuring targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations.
- Employ a target-driven approach to meet KPIs consistently.
- Lead, engage, and support the store team to achieve goals.
- Maintain outstanding presentation and upkeep of the shop floor.
- Ensure stock levels are sufficient at all times to meet customer demand.
- Deliver consistently excellent customer service standards throughout the store.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- At least two years of management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Possession of a full driving licence.
- Strong passion for working in a varied, fast-moving environment with a focus on meeting targets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexible availability to work different shift patterns.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is preferred but not mandatory if you demonstrate the right attitude.
