This opportunity is for a Clinical Data Analyst - Dosimetrist located in the United States. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assess treatment planning contours adhering to clinical guidelines and best radiation therapy practices.
- Utilize dosimetry expertise to aid the creation and refinement of AI contouring models.
- Stay updated on global contouring standards, protocols, and radiotherapy treatment planning trends.
- Verify trained AI models ensuring clinical precision, reliability, and healthcare readiness.
- Spot opportunities for model enhancements and suggest improvements for clinical acceptance.
- Compile documentation and results for verification and validation testing.
- Work in tandem with product leaders, developers, and clinical experts on R&D efforts.
- Support data-driven projects to advance automation and streamline treatment planning processes.
- Organize clinical requirements and facilitate communication across diverse teams.
- Drive ongoing improvements to AI-powered radiation oncology applications.
Applicant Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional medical dosimetrist.
- In-depth knowledge of radiation oncology workflows and treatment planning.
- Proven expertise in contouring according to recognized clinical standards and protocols.
- Substantial hands-on experience with radiation therapy planning and contouring.
- Preferred experience in verification and validation testing.
- Familiarity with multiple treatment planning systems and associated clinical technologies is advantageous.
- Experience with diverse radiation oncology workflow software is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational capacity to handle multiple projects autonomously.
- Outstanding communication capabilities for collaboration with both technical and clinical teams.
