Role Overview
The Program Manager will spearhead strategic initiatives and manage operational execution across multiple Bonneville Labs sites. Balancing high-level strategy with detailed day-to-day management, this position ensures clear ownership, accountability, and measurable success for all programs. The role also drives consistent workflows, documentation, and continuous enhancement aligned with a product-focused operational approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from conception through planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timely progress and quality.
- Manage program tracking tools like Smartsheets and UpKeep to monitor timelines and performance.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally among Lab Operations, Safety, Facilities, Member Services, Scientific Services, and Business Operations.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, protocols, and operational documents with appropriate version control and regulatory compliance.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Support day-to-day operations and site readiness, including emergency response coordination and vendor management.
- Maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, members, vendors, and contractors, emphasizing exceptional member experience.
- Prepare detailed program presentations, track KPIs such as uptime and NPS, and facilitate continuous improvement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in program/project management or business operations, preferably in biotech, life sciences, lab operations, or regulated industries.
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in dynamic environments.
- Experience with SOP development and multi-site operations coordination is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, including mentoring junior staff.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, Salesforce, or analogous tools.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and business insight.
- Comfortable with basic automation and data tracking technologies.
- Must be able to work remotely on West Coast hours and travel quarterly to Bay Area locations.
- Valid driver's license is required; safety training (EHS, HazMat, bloodborne pathogens) is a plus.

Compensation
Annual salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 based in San Francisco, CA.
