Business Intelligence Analyst (Excel)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with strong expertise in Excel to support AI model training through comprehensive data analysis and business intelligence solutions. This is a contract-based remote role offering flexible weekly hours, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, with compensation between $40 and $50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to organize, analyze, and present data critical for AI model development.
• Collaborate closely with client teams to deliver actionable business intelligence insights.
• Perform thorough data preparation, including cleaning and validation of extensive datasets to maintain accuracy for AI applications.
• Create and maintain documented BI workflows, ensuring effective communication of processes both verbally and in writing.
• Convert complex business queries into data-driven insights that enhance model performance.
• Design and develop detailed Excel reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support AI training initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in business intelligence or data analytics with a strong focus on Excel usage.
• Expert-level skills in advanced Excel functionalities, including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA scripting, and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex data findings to varied stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, managing time and project deliverables effectively.
• Deep understanding of business operations and translating business needs into technical BI solutions.
• Experience handling large datasets through cleansing, preparation, and validation specifically for analytics or AI purposes.

Additional Details
