Role Overview
This position focuses on driving sales results through exceptional customer service, supervising associates, managing expenses, and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by delivering excellent customer service and consistently achieving or surpassing company targets.
- Provide documented performance evaluations for sales associates, offering constructive feedback aligned with company goals.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards including proper signage, store cleanliness, and adherence to dress code policies.
- Safeguard company assets by adhering to LIDS Retail policies and procedures.
- Assist in creating store schedules to ensure adequate coverage while managing labor costs.
- Manage store inventory accurately through receiving, transferring, price adjustments, and product counts.
- Complete proper documentation and record keeping compliant with company policies and relevant laws.
- Open and close the store following established operational procedures.
- Support all company policies and guidelines.
- Participate in training programs, set sales and operational goals, and provide ongoing follow-up.
- Help recruit, train, and guide store personnel on operational standards and guidelines.
- Encourage staff to comply strictly with company policies, including inventory protection and handling of funds.
- Perform tasks typically assigned to subordinates when needed and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of related experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales while minimizing losses.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills demonstrated in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in computer operation and familiarity with relevant software applications.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hands overhead, including ladder climbing.
- Ability to stand for the entirety of the work shift.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
