Water Treatment Technician

Overview

AMWAJ Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Water Treatment Technician to join their team in Qatar. The role involves maintaining and servicing water treatment systems, particularly focusing on Reverse Osmosis (RO) units and healthcare-related water standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, spanning at least three years.
• Certificates must be attested by the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
• Extensive hands-on training and practical experience with RO and water treatment installations.
• Between five and seven years of experience working in water treatment environments.
• A minimum of three years' experience within the healthcare sector, emphasizing water quality for medical purposes.

Technical Expertise

• In-depth understanding of RO systems, dialysis water quality standards, and Legionella bacteria control processes.
• Competency in reading and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), mechanical schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to record preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
