Role Overview
This position is responsible for creating and delivering top-tier learning programs to assist the Capability and Quality Lead in developing lasting operational skills. Utilizing proven adult learning techniques, the role ensures that training is practical, engaging, and effective, guided by performance metrics, learner requirements, and corporate priorities.
The Trainer supports team skill growth through organized learning initiatives such as new employee inductions, technical onboarding, cross-training, upskilling, and project-related training. The role encompasses the entire capability development cycle, including needs analysis, instructional design, facilitation, and assessment. By using data and stakeholder feedback, it identifies skill gaps and continuously improves training solutions to boost effectiveness and performance outcomes.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a solid background in the insurance or financial services sectors, particularly within regulated settings, aligning training efforts with business goals and compliance standards. Experience in capability or training roles is necessary, along with a confident application of structured learning frameworks and adult education principles to create engaging and applicable learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Proficiency with authoring tools such as Kando, Canva, and Articulate 360
- Experience managing learning management systems (LMS)
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in adult learning, instructional design, or related methodologies
- Strong instructional design skills and deep understanding of adult learning theory
- Advanced knowledge of contact center technologies and CRM systems for training and analytics
- Preferred experience with LEAP customer service methodologies and working within contact center environments
- Desirable analytical and data reporting capabilities
