Role Overview
This full-time, field-based Territory Sales Manager role covers the Huntsville, Alabama market and requires an on-site presence in the assigned territory. It is a driving position, so candidates must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and successfully clear an MVR screening. There are no people-management duties attached to this role.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 per year, plus incentives. Base pay may vary depending on work location, experience, skills, knowledge, and qualifications. The role may also be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses and Restricted Stock Units, subject to company plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong in-market execution by improving perfect-store standards, including assortment, shelf placement, displays, and promotional presence.
- Carry out the brand’s sales strategy across retail accounts within the assigned territory.
- Perform account audits, identify opportunities, and share findings through CRM-based reporting.
- Work alongside distributor partners through route rides, blitzes, and important account visits.
- Assist with broader regional sales programs as assigned by the District or Regional Sales Manager.
- Join weekly sales meetings to review results and set future targets.
- Track, meet, and report daily, weekly, and quarterly performance goals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in consumer goods sales, ideally in beverages, distributor sales, or a similar field.
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to pass an MVR check.
- Strong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
- Comfort working in daily face-to-face customer interactions.
- Good verbal and written communication ability.
- Capability to present information and engage large peer groups.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and field sales reporting tools.
