Role overview
Millennium Al Barsha Hotel is looking for a Telephone Operator who can manage incoming calls with professionalism, speed, and a guest-first approach. The role is focused on creating a polished and welcoming experience for every guest interaction throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Answer guest calls in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Coordinate with the relevant hotel departments so requests and calls are handled smoothly.
- Respond to guest questions politely and ensure service quality stays above expectations.
- Use the guest’s name when answering calls, following the hotel’s service standard.
- Stay informed about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions or offerings.
- Review and use guest profile information through the Opera guest profile system.
- Prepare long-distance call vouchers and enter the details correctly on the traffic sheet.
- Maintain the wake-up call sheet and ensure calls are placed on time and to standard.
- Keep the switchboard running efficiently by managing internal and external call transfers.
- Record and pass on messages for guests and management according to hotel procedures.
- Follow the organization’s environmental, health, and safety rules and standards.
- Comply with all company policies related to environmental, health, and safety practices.
