About the Role

Join a chemical manufacturing company as a Team Lead responsible for guiding and mentoring scientists while actively participating in laboratory operations. The role focuses on advancing process development from lab scale through pilot plant stages specifically for agrochemical active ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of scientists in project execution while maintaining hands-on involvement in lab work.
  • Develop, optimize, validate, and scale manufacturing processes for agrochemical active ingredients.
  • Manage technology transfers and create cost-effective, commercially viable, and non-infringing manufacturing methods.
  • Understand and analyze reaction mechanisms, impurities, impurity profiling, and use purification techniques such as distillation, crystallization, and chromatography.
  • Conduct analytical data interpretation using NMR, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, and GC instruments, supported by literature research using SciFinder and Reaxys.
