Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to work onsite in Brooklyn, NY. This position is responsible for handling comprehensive recruiting duties such as sourcing candidates, resume screening, conducting interviews both telephonic and face-to-face, and coordinating the hiring workflow with department heads. Building robust talent pipelines for technical, operational, and corporate roles is essential, alongside maintaining precise candidate databases and recruitment performance records. The specialist will aid employer branding efforts, enhance candidate engagement, and collaborate closely with leadership to refine recruitment needs and define job criteria. Daily tasks encompass managing job advertising, scheduling interviews, providing prompt candidate feedback, and ensuring a smooth, equitable hiring process.
Key Qualifications
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment cycles across various roles.
- Capability in offer administration and onboarding coordination.
- Expertise in employer branding to effectively communicate company culture and values to prospects.
- Proficient in structured interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication, with ability to partner well with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Hands-on use of applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards for talent pool development.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple openings simultaneously.
- Knowledge of equitable hiring practices with a commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and fairness in recruitment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline, or comparable practical experience.
- Background recruiting for technology, robotics, retail, or startup companies is advantageous.
