Sustainability Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Specialist for a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Riyadh Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing sustainability strategies that align with the objectives of clients and the organization. This includes embedding environmental, social, and governance considerations into projects and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data related to sustainability performance and prepare comprehensive sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports.
• Ensure compliance with pertinent sustainability standards and frameworks.
• Work closely with engineering and consulting teams to integrate sustainable practices throughout project design and execution phases.
• Provide consultation on best practices and identify opportunities for improvements in sustainability efforts.
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of sustainability training and awareness programs.
• Support the preparation of proposals and presentations that focus on sustainable solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven expertise in corporate sustainability and CSR, with a focus on ESG-centric initiatives.
• Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate sustainability data, interpret results, and uncover areas for enhancement.
• Experience in developing and structuring sustainability reports aligned with industry standards and clear performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage internal teams and external partners, including report drafting and presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental engineering, environmental science, business, or a related discipline; a higher degree is advantageous.
• Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks such as GRI, ESG reporting guidelines, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a plus.
• Background in engineering consulting, infrastructure, or similar sectors, ideally with exposure to the Riyadh Region or comparable markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, juggle multiple projects, and deliver high-quality results on schedule.
