Role Overview
This field service position focuses on executing branch-assigned work packages, handling service activities at customer sites, and documenting outcomes accurately in the service system. The role also involves estimating repair effort, reviewing safety and visit outcomes, and advising customers based on technical recommendations.
Key Duties
- Receive planned work assignments from the branch service or maintenance planner and take ownership of the assigned field tasks.
- Accept work packages and log work completed against the relevant service request or work package.
- Avoid raising new service requests directly, except where a do-work process allows it.
- Capture faults and exceptions using the Risk & Recommendation approach.
- Work out estimated labour time and the likely cost of parts needed for repairs.
- Carry out safety reviews and visit reviews, then note the follow-up actions required.
- Discuss recommendations with customers so they can make informed purchasing or repair decisions.
- Follow the company's safety rules at all times and use the protective equipment provided, including safety shoes and safety harnesses.
Skills and Systems
The role calls for experience with CRM Siebel and Field Service Siebel, along with a customer-oriented mindset, basic crane technical understanding, and awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Preferred Profile
The preferred candidate is a Diploma holder in Electrical engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience.
Eligibility
B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Electrical engineering as preferred for the role.
