Position Summary
The Solutions Consultant will serve as the technical liaison between RegASK’s AI-driven regulatory platform and its customers, assisting the sales team throughout the sales cycle from discovery to solution delivery. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role involves using deep product knowledge and regulatory insight to create personalized solutions addressing clients’ regulatory challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales technical interactions including discovery calls, needs analyses, and solution workshops with clients across APAC, Europe, and North America.
- Develop and deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to align RegASK features with customers’ regulatory processes and challenges.
- Manage end-to-end proof-of-concept projects defining criteria and translating results into clear business benefits.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders in regulatory, IT, and procurement.
- Assist in preparing technical content for proposals, security questionnaires, and compliance documentation during RFP/RFI processes.
- Create and maintain reusable solution assets such as demo scripts, briefs, integration guides, and FAQs in collaboration with Product and Marketing teams.
- Gather and advocate customer requirements, reporting detailed insights to Product and Engineering to guide the product roadmap.
- Enable sales teams by coaching on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and conducting internal training sessions on new features.
- Keep current with important regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, EFSA, ASEAN, Health Canada) relevant to RegASK products.
- Support smooth technical handover to Customer Success to ensure post-sales implementation and success plans align with commitments made during pre-sales.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Sales Engineering within B2B SaaS, preferably in RegTech, life sciences, FMCG, or compliance software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complete pre-sales cycles for complex enterprise deals involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of addressing diverse audiences including regulatory scientists and executive leaders.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to design solutions amidst ambiguous requirements and clearly explain trade-offs.
- Familiarity with enterprise technologies including APIs, SSO/SAML, cloud platforms like Azure or GCP, and data privacy regulations such as GDPR and PDPA.
- Passion for regulatory compliance, curiosity about product market entry processes across jurisdictions, and empathy for regulatory professionals.
- Collaborative approach to work asynchronously across time zones with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Regulatory Affairs, Food Science, Life Sciences, or Chemistry.
- Experience with CRM and pre-sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, or Consensus.
- Knowledge of AI/ML features with ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Previous experience in fast-growing startup or scale-up environments.
