Job Overview
The Solutions Architect will connect the business goals, strategies, and operations of the bank with its IT strategy. This role involves documenting and overseeing architectural frameworks that demonstrate how the bank’s current and future demands can be met efficiently and adaptably.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all new systems comply with architecture principles and established golden rules; define, analyze, and review architecture and technical requirements.
- Evaluate requirements and offer architecture recommendations aligned with the bank's strategic vision and best industry practices.
- Create architectural and technical design documents along with systems integration materials for projects and requests.
- Participate in governance processes to ensure system architecture delivers expected benefits.
- Research, assess, and propose systems, equipment, or technologies that meet business needs.
- Advise on server hardware and operating system choices suitable for enterprise applications.
- Define architecture requirements by identifying needed technology components or patterns and mapping them to approved standards.
- Conduct gap analysis on current environments, compose reports, and drive resolution through action planning with relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as TOGAF Certified Architect, CISSP Architecture, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, or PMP are beneficial.
- 5 to 7 years of experience spanning multiple IT disciplines like development hardware, analysis, design, service management, and architecture.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies including LEAN and SCRUM, with experience collaborating across teams.
- Background in managing platforms and operating systems.
- Proven expertise in designing innovative technology solutions in areas like Authentication Systems, System and Platform Migrations, Enterprise Solution Architecture, Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Application Architecture, or Technology Architecture, combining technical and industry knowledge.
