Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Service Technician in New South Wales, Australia. The position involves performing service and maintenance tasks across our product range, ensuring safety, reliability, and high-quality results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing, inspections, and maintenance according to Australian Standard AS5007 and internal company procedures.
- Accurately complete and submit service documentation within designated timelines.
- Effectively communicate service results to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee management and responsible use of spare parts, tools, and company vehicles.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety (WHS), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and site-specific safety protocols.
- Be available for after-hours standby, call-outs, and overtime tasks as necessary.
- Promptly report any safety incidents, hazards, or risks encountered in the field.
- Participate and engage in toolbox talks, training sessions, and company programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operational activities.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a trade qualification or comparable technical expertise.
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities; prior experience with automatic door systems is highly advantageous.
- Hold a current driver's license.
- Exhibit proficient digital literacy with meticulous attention to documentation detail.
- Have excellent customer service skills and clear communication abilities.
- Flexible to work outside conventional business hours when required.
