Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies across three main facets: On-Page (keyword research, HTML & schema tagging), Technical (optimizing site architecture for better crawling), and Off-Page (link building).
  • Enhance website content continuously through maintenance and ad hoc optimization tasks to boost site performance.
  • Perform comprehensive website audits and keyword research, aiming to improve organic search rankings and achieve first-page Google search visibility.
  • Generate and analyze SEO performance reports, monitor web analytics, and evaluate campaign progress against deliverables.
  • Support the Global Sources SEM team with SEO implementation, coordination, and reporting.
  • Create simple wireframes and mockups to provide visual references for business units and management, facilitating faster decision-making and expectation alignment around new initiatives and site redesigns.
  • Carry out keyword research to optimize landing pages effectively.
  • Produce engaging and thought-provoking content to attract and drive traffic to client websites.
  • Oversee all traffic and visibility targets, providing comprehensive SEO traffic statistics to clients.
  • Manage incoming SEO-related requests, prioritize tasks, provide status updates, and report progress, dependencies, and obstacles to the Account Management team.
  • Identify corrective measures to continuously improve organic search traffic, user behavior, and rankings on major search engines.
  • Stay updated on emerging and innovative SEO methods to maintain industry leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, SEM, or related roles.
  • Deep knowledge of both on-page and off-page SEO optimization techniques.
  • Hands-on expertise in white-hat SEO practices encompassing organic search, on-page, and off-page optimization.
  • Strong article writing capabilities capable of producing effective copy for content marketing purposes.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and project management skills.
