Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Cisco Data Center Networking

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Cisco Data Center Networking to join our team onsite in Doha, Qatar. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing robust enterprise data center infrastructures focused on Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Cisco Data Center infrastructure environments.
• Configure and administer Cisco ACI solutions, including Nexus 9000 switches, APIC controllers, and Leaf-Spine network topologies.
• Implement and resolve issues related to routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, along with virtual networking components like VRFs, L3Out, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, and Service Graphs.
• Manage F5 Application Delivery Controllers, including LTM and APM modules, as well as enterprise firewall technologies.
• Develop and uphold Infrastructure as Code approaches using Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Support automation pipelines and continuous integration/delivery processes utilizing Git workflows.
• Participate in cloud migration projects transitioning workloads from on-premises environments.
• Use monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack to optimize system performance and availability.
• Ensure the overall security, high availability, and optimal performance of enterprise infrastructure assets.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Data Center Networking technologies.
• Proficiency in Cisco ACI components, including APIC, Nexus 9K, and Leaf-Spine architecture design.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
• Deep understanding of Cisco ACI policy constructs such as Tenants, VRFs, EPGs, Bridge Domains, Contracts, and L3Out.
• Expertise managing F5 ADC devices (LTM/APM modules).
• Experience with leading enterprise firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point.
• Skilled in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control systems.
• Competence using Linux command line interface and network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing techniques.
• Operational knowledge of monitoring stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Background in executing on-premises to cloud migration activities.
