Role overview
The Public Transport Promotion team at the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is looking for a Senior/Executive to help drive initiatives that improve the commuter experience and support more inclusive public transport.
What you will do
- Plan and coordinate outreach events and community engagement activities, including finding suitable venues, working with vendors, and providing support on the ground during events.
- Work closely with community partners, public transport operators, and government agencies to organise and execute outreach and event activities.
- Maintain and update databases for volunteers and participants accurately.
- Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving the commuter experience.
- Handle procurement and other operational duties as required to help the division meet its goals, including organising awards and recognition programmes.
What the team is looking for
- A candidate from any academic discipline.
- Prior exposure to event coordination, data handling, or community engagement would be beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good planning, communication, and people skills.
- Careful, accurate, and able to work on your own in a busy environment.
- A friendly personality with a strong customer-oriented approach.
