Position Overview

The Sales Representative for Modern Trade, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, reports to the Sales Section Head - MT and is dedicated to achieving sales objectives in Modern Trade accounts by ensuring outstanding execution across product availability, pricing, promotion, and visibility while nurturing customer relationships.

  • Guarantee complete product availability including new launches across assigned Modern Trade clients.
  • Prevent stock outages through effective inventory management and replenishment.
  • Meet sales targets regarding volume, value, and distribution metrics.
  • Implement in-store promotions, planograms, and maintain visibility according to commercial standards.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensure timely and accurate entry into the SAP system.
  • Track and report competitor activities including pricing, promotions, and product introductions.
  • Maintain precise and current customer databases and sales records.
  • Prepare regular sales performance and market feedback reports.
  • Identify potential growth avenues within the assigned accounts.
  • Drive punctual payment collections adhering to credit terms.
  • Ensure conformity to company policies, standards, and trade agreements in all sales actions.
  • Maintain company integrity concerning quality, safety, and ethics in all field operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of one year experience in FMCG sales, ideally within Modern Trade.
  • Strong communication abilities and aptitude for building relationships.
  • Competency in data analysis and market insight generation.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel within the designated region.
