Role Overview
OpenText has established global Centres of Excellence for Sales Development, focusing on top-tier cloud software technologies and solutions. You will join a dynamic, social, and high-efficiency team collaborating to attract and qualify prospects considering OpenText products. This role involves cold calling, emailing, and engagement via social media and video. A thorough grasp of B2B lead generation and business development is essential.
This quota-driven position is ideal for motivated and tech-savvy candidates seeking to develop a career path in sales, presales, solution consultancy, or leadership within a global software organization. Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing coaching, and personalized growth opportunities will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to strategize territory plans aimed at discovering, nurturing, and qualifying sales pipeline.
- Convert qualified leads to sales-qualified opportunities and revenue.
- Support sales and solution consultant teams to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Balance prospecting activities between outbound targeted outreach and follow-up of inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
- Engage prospects through cold calling, emailing, and social outreach in target accounts.
- Maintain accurate contact and lead information using Salesforce and other research tools.
- Track and report all lead generation activities and pipeline contributions through Salesforce and Outreach platforms.
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria and standardized prospecting procedures.
- Provide regular updates on sales activity and pipe progression.

Additional Information
This role is based in Singapore and requires a minimum of four days onsite per week initially, transitioning to five days onsite by September 2026. Preference will be given to candidates who do not require work sponsorship in Singapore.
