Success in this position requires confidence in high-volume and uncertain environments, strong problem-solving ability, and the ability to stay composed while managing tight deadlines.

In addition, this recruiter will apply deep talent acquisition experience to build strong relationships with business leaders, cross-functional partners, and centralized university recruiting teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Create fresh sourcing, attraction, assessment, and hiring approaches for specialized student roles.
  • Find ways to improve candidate experience and make scheduling more efficient.
  • Maintain and review candidate and campus data, analyze outcomes, and recommend process improvements.
  • Design recruiting approaches that support long-term business growth and align with Amazon standards for quality and customer focus.
  • Partner with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and stakeholders to shape an early-career talent strategy.
  • Set and manage customer expectations through recurring business reviews, metrics updates, and stakeholder communication.
  • Build scalable recruiting plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and tracking processes.
  • Take part in special recruiting initiatives, pilots, and process improvement work.

Team context

This position is part of the Robotics-AI recruiting team. The team hires bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students in areas such as robotics, silicon, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, hardware, and related technologies. Experience recruiting in these spaces is highly valued.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
