Description de l'emploi
About the company
Salesforce is a leading AI-powered CRM platform where teams and digital agents work together to help customers succeed. The company combines innovation, trust, and strong values, and is focused on helping businesses and communities make better use of AI.
This opportunity is part of Salesforce’s Public Sector team and supports the company’s broader push toward AI-led transformation through Agentforce.
Role overview
The Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) Account Executive will handle a high number of smaller opportunities across enterprise customers. In this role, the primary focus is on organisations within New Zealand’s social development and welfare government sector. The position is suited to someone looking to advance their enterprise sales capability while working alongside experienced sales leaders.
The role is based in Wellington, with other possible locations listed as Sydney or Auckland.
Key responsibilities
You will own the full sales cycle, from market research and territory planning through to forecasting and revenue delivery. The role requires building pipeline, identifying qualified accounts, and closing business while maintaining long-term account growth.
Salesforce provides structured onboarding, along with internal support teams such as sales support and pre-sales specialists to help you create and progress opportunities.
Benefits and culture
Salesforce participates in the Pledge 1% model and contributes through products, grants, and community service. The company has also been recognised among PEOPLE’s Top 50 Companies that Care and Fortune’s Change the World list.
Employees receive 7 paid volunteer days each year, plus donation matching for approved charitable donations. Additional benefits include health, life, trauma, and income insurance, a monthly wellness allowance, IVF/adoption/fertility preservation support, flexible leave arrangements, and parental benefits.
Additional information
Candidates are asked to limit applications to a maximum of 3 roles within a 12-month period to avoid duplicate efforts.
If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application or hiring process, you may submit a request through the company’s accommodation process.
Salesforce uses AI tools to assist recruiters in reviewing resumes and qualifications, but final hiring decisions are made by people. The company also follows an equal opportunity and non-discrimination policy and evaluates candidates based on merit, competence, and qualifications only.
What success looks like
The right candidate will be comfortable selling enterprise software, driving new business, managing a strong pipeline, and maintaining accurate CRM records. Success in this role also depends on the ability to work with senior decision-makers, communicate value clearly, and deliver consistent results against targets.
Candidate profile
This role is best suited to someone with substantial enterprise software sales experience, ideally from a major software vendor. A strong track record of winning net new business, repeatedly exceeding targets, and building credibility with senior stakeholders is important. Fluency in English is required. Experience selling CRM applications or working in a vertical industry would be an advantage, as would a strong history of long tenure with previous employers.
