Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager for a partner of Haystack to spearhead the successful deployment of complex HCM and PACS projects. After a comprehensive onboarding, you will independently plan and organize project phases while coordinating internal and external teams to ensure smooth implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of challenging healthcare software projects (HCM and PACS) for clients.
• Plan, organize, and monitor projects independently post-onboarding.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams during execution.
• Track project progress, identify deviations and initiate corrective measures, maintaining thorough project documentation.
• Manage budgets, expenses, project controlling, and billing in collaboration with clients, sales, back office, and order processing teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven project management experience in IT environments.
• Track record of successfully managing standard software projects in medical contexts.
• Certification in project management such as PRINCE2®, IPMA, PMI, or equivalent expertise handling complex projects.
• Understanding of medical communication standards including HL7 and DICOM.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to quickly grasp complex project issues.
• Fluent German and good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to undertake occasional travel for on-site client meetings.
