Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a Haystack partner for an IT Support Specialist to ensure secure and uninterrupted access for employees to network services, printers, and meeting room devices. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of corporate endpoints, overseeing legacy file server systems, cloud printing setups, and handling WAN connectivity along with enterprise network components. Additionally, the position requires maintaining meeting room technology and digital display standards and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee secure, reliable, and smooth access to network resources, printers, and meeting room technologies for employees.
- Handle all stages of corporate endpoint management from setup to decommissioning.
- Support legacy file servers and cloud printing systems.
- Manage service providers responsible for WAN connectivity and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Conduct performance and capacity assessments, incident and problem resolution, lifecycle, and change management related to network equipment.
- Maintain and manage meeting room equipment and digital display platforms and standards.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an IT role.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- In-depth understanding of IT systems, networks, workplace technologies, and computing hardware/software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
- Skillful task prioritization, attention to detail, and effective time management.
