Their scope includes Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, and Seller Service functions. The Shopee User Product team specifically manages the user account platform and authentication ecosystem, creating smooth login, signup, and account management experiences throughout Shopee's product offerings. The team also promotes user growth through product-driven campaigns and lifecycle initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement, conversion, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage integration and oversight of both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) accounts, focusing on Shopee's shared account services such as login SDK, consent management, and partner platform integration.
- Lead the development roadmap for Login, Signup & Authentication processes to ensure seamless user experience for account registration, login, authentication, and management across Shopee and SEA Group platforms.
- Plan and implement targeted user campaigns for various user segments like new users, churn prevention, and reactivation to boost conversion and engagement.
- Encourage and coordinate cross-functional collaboration among business stakeholders, design, and engineering teams to build scalable, high-quality products.
- Own the full product development lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery of product initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in fields such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction/Design, or related technical/scientific areas; a master's degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated product management experience in account management/platform integration or user growth/lifecycle marketing, including acquisition and retention campaigns, is highly preferred.
- Proactive, able to juggle multiple projects in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude to clearly communicate complex business and technical concepts to varied audiences both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical skills, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Flexible, open to new ideas, and quick to learn.
