Role overview
His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service is recruiting prison officers for HMP Highpoint. This is a demanding, high-energy position where you will help protect the public while also supporting people in custody to make positive changes in their lives. The salary for the role is £35,746 to £40,003.

Every day in this job can look different. You may be expected to act as a calm presence, support or guide people, and step into different responsibilities across the day. The position involves close contact with prisoners in a secure setting, with the wider aim of maintaining safety and contributing to rehabilitation.
