About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate individual to join our hospital team as a Porter. This role is crucial in supporting patients, transporting supplies, and assisting various departments to operate securely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely escort and assist patients during admissions, theatre visits, diagnostics, and discharge processes
  • Transport equipment, stock, medical records, and other necessary items across hospital departments
  • Manage linen supplies by ordering, receiving, distributing, unloading deliveries, replenishing stock and collecting used linen
  • Conduct specimen collections during the day
  • Receive deliveries ensuring proper and secure storage of goods
  • Adhere strictly to infection control, manual handling, health and safety, and data protection guidelines
