PGT Accountancy Teacher

About the Role

This full-time, on-site teaching role is for a Post Graduate Teacher in Accountancy based in Madhya Pradesh, India. The position involves teaching senior secondary students and helping them build strong conceptual and exam-ready understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deliver interactive Accountancy lessons for Classes XI and XII in line with CBSE/ICSE requirements.
• Develop structured lesson plans, classroom materials, and assessments that strengthen conceptual clarity and analytical skills.
• Run both ongoing and end-term assessments, share helpful feedback, and keep academic documentation up to date.
• Guide students preparing for board exams, Olympiads, and other competitive examinations such as CA Foundation and NDA.
• Take part in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Work with other teachers on cross-subject projects and co-curricular activities.
• Follow the institution’s values, safety guidelines, and discipline standards while maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications & Skills

• Postgraduate qualification in Accountancy, Commerce, or a related field such as M.Com, MA, or an equivalent degree.
• PGT eligibility certification from NCTE or a comparable authority.
• Strong proficiency in both English and Hindi, written as well as spoken.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in senior secondary Accountancy is preferred. Exposure to CBSE/ICSE teaching methods and board exam preparation will be an advantage. Experience with digital classrooms, online testing tools, and other technology-enabled teaching methods is also desirable.
