About Edgewell Personal Care and the Role

In Germany, the Wilkinson Sword GmbH, as a wholly owned subsidiary, operates from Solingen with approximately 550 employees. This position is ideal for a structured team player eager to take on responsibility and work closely with management, employees, and service providers in a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with labor, tariff, tax, and social security regulations, including all necessary administrative tasks before and after payroll execution.
- Perform internal and external reporting duties and monitor deadlines effectively.
- Responsibly handle time management systems.
- Contribute to the support ticket system for payroll-related inquiries.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related questions from staff, management, service providers, authorities, insurers, and auditors, collaborating closely with accounting and controlling functions.
- Participate in annual financial closing activities including calculating provisions.
- Engage in digitalization initiatives, special projects, and international payroll projects.
Candidate Profile
- Commercial education background with 1–3 years of payroll experience, preferably within a global manufacturing company.
- Familiarity with payroll full accounting (Vollkonti), social benefits referencing (S-Verweis), and SOX compliance.
- Experience using payroll software such as ACCURAT, Kronos, ServiceNOW, and SuccessFactors.
- Proficient in German (fluent) and English (good level).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Highly organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
- Understanding of the operational needs within a production environment.
- Team-oriented with a strong service mindset.
