About the Role
Join Vestas as an Operator or Service Technician within the Service Department in France. Be part of an international leader in wind energy and actively support the transition to sustainable power. Your role will involve maintaining and optimizing client wind farms to ensure turbines operate at maximum capacity and energy efficiency throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspection work adhering to Vestas’ standards, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Manage turbine operations using condition monitoring and remote control systems to secure smooth functionality.
- Maintain service vehicles and warehouses by ordering necessary materials, tools, and spare parts to enable efficient field service.
- Assemble and install components using internal or external cranes in line with technical guidelines.
- Comply with rigorous safety and environmental protocols, striving to meet service quality objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Educational credentials range from a high school diploma with technical field experience up to a bachelor’s degree or BTS/DUT in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with BZEE certification for technician level.
- Preferred work experience of 2 to 5 years in industrial maintenance or electrical domains, including familiarity with high voltage systems.
Competencies and Skills
- Proactive communication with customers about service completions and upcoming maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and with flexibility; willingness to travel as required for field assignments.
- Competence in technical English, both written and spoken, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong team collaboration skills and effective communication abilities.
