Role Overview

As an Operations Specialist in the Medmo team, you will be essential in ensuring smooth operations behind the patient journey. You will manage complexities involved in scheduling and coordinating imaging appointments by working closely with imaging centers, providers, and internal teams. Your efforts will enable patients to receive timely, affordable, and excellent care, while also supporting partners' operational efficiency.

This position goes beyond administrative tasks; it requires problem-solving, process improvement, and active collaboration to optimize systems and workflows continuously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate operational processes supporting patients, providers, and imaging centers throughout imaging workflows.
  • Address and resolve operational questions and challenges using internal resources, standard procedures, and prudent decision-making.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass personal and team productivity and quality metrics while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Develop deep expertise in Covera Health and Medmo’s products, processes, and evolving workflows.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve operational effectiveness by collaborating with leaders across Operations, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Enhance processes, documentation, and workflows to better the user experience and internal operations.
  • Work cross-functionally to tackle complex operational issues and ensure a seamless experience for patients and partners.
  • Engage in continual training to stay current with new products, features, and operational procedures.

Work Environment

While Covera Health is a remote-first company with employees across the U.S., there is a New York City office where local staff often meet weekly for collaboration. This role is fully remote with no travel obligations. Support is required during standard business hours (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM local time) with occasional flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ experience in operations, administrative support, healthcare operations, or medical office roles.
  • At least one year in customer service or patient-facing positions.
  • Background in healthcare, clinical settings, medical imaging, or related industries is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education combined with relevant experience.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities to balance multiple priorities with precision.
  • Experience handling detailed tasks such as document processing, data management, or verification.
