About the Role

Join Neogen Corporation as a Customer Data Specialist I, where your primary responsibility will be generating, verifying, and delivering internal and external reports efficiently. You will handle standard customer data requests and manage cases within Salesforce, troubleshooting and resolving any data-related queries. This position requires collaboration with various departments to meet customer data requirements and support customer interactions and trainings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and perform quality checks on reports ensuring precise and timely delivery to customers.
  • Handle routine customer data requests by providing accurate reports and data files and resolving any complications.
  • Manage Salesforce cases involving customer data inquiries, resolving issues promptly to satisfy service standards.
  • Address escalated phone inquiries related to data, offering effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Format customer data as requested, ensuring correctness and proper submission.
  • Investigate and fix straightforward data problems through technical verification prior to data dispatch.
  • Coordinate sample pull orders and retrieval requests, maintaining timeliness and accuracy in sample processing.
  • Update internal databases such as GS LIMS and Genomics systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Keep detailed records related to parentage permissions communications.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to support and fulfill customer data requirements.
  • Assist with customer visits and deliver basic training when necessary.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and training initiatives for ongoing skills enhancement.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service with a focus on resolving customer inquiries and ensuring quality service.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail guaranteeing accuracy in data reporting and management.
