Night Team Leader

Role overview

Anam Cara, a children’s residential home in Friesthorpe, Lincolnshire, is hiring a Night Team Leader. This role suits someone caring, upbeat, and committed to supporting people with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. You will help residents build more independent, meaningful lives by supporting day-to-day routines and accompanying them on community outings.

A company vehicle is available for trips such as shopping, appointments, meals, and other outings. To drive it, you must either hold a full UK driving licence or have been driving in the UK for at least 2 years.

The starting pay is £14.24 per hour, rising to £16.30 per hour for experienced candidates. Pay bands are structured as Level 1 - £14.24, Level 2 - £15.23, and Level 3 - £16.30. There is also a competency framework that can help you build your skills and move up to higher hourly pay.

You will work as part of the night team, offering essential support to people with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. The role focuses on helping them with everyday activities and supporting access to the local community.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate genuinely wants to care for others and help people progress. You should work well in a team, stay resilient, be comfortable asking for support when needed, and communicate clearly in both written and spoken English. Basic computer skills are also required.

You should have a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care, or be willing to work towards it.
