Role Overview
The hospital is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist for its Karnal, Haryana location. This role focuses on converting radiology and imaging-related voice output into accurate medical documentation and polishing machine-generated drafts to reflect the doctor’s intended meaning precisely.
Key Work Area
The position requires documentation support for radiology services across multiple imaging types, along with careful review of speech-recognition drafts and strict confidentiality in handling patient data.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed radiology documentation based on imaging findings.
- Transcribe reports for a variety of imaging procedures, including plain radiography (X-rays), CT scans, and MRI.
- Review speech-recognition drafts and correct errors, omissions, and misinterpreted terms.
- Ensure the final report accurately reflects the doctor’s clinical intent.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy requirements at all times.
