Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of work in the production area so that targets for output, quality, and cost are achieved.
• Set production priorities by considering product launches, machine efficiency, and material availability.
• Prepare and manage operating procedures and budgets for the assigned function.
• Provide budget recommendations and oversee capital spending as well as direct and indirect labour at higher organisational levels.
• Build schedules and determine staffing needs for the assigned area.
• Recruit, develop, and assess team members to keep the function running effectively.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Robotics & Smart System is preferred.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and openness to learning new software tools is needed.
• Prior exposure to GMP is an advantage.
• Strong leadership ability is necessary to guide and grow a team.
• The role calls for someone self-driven, able to juggle multiple tasks, and effective in deadline-focused environments.
• Applicants should be willing to work night or day shifts and support overtime when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities are important.
• Advanced capability in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint is expected.

Work arrangement

This is a full-time, onsite position in Singapore.
