Role overview
Ichor Systems, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production-area activities in Singapore. The position focuses on driving output, quality, and cost performance while ensuring the team and schedules are aligned with business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of work in the production area so that targets for output, quality, and cost are achieved.
- Set production priorities by considering product launches, machine efficiency, and material availability.
- Prepare and manage operating procedures and budgets for the assigned function.
- Provide budget recommendations and oversee capital spending as well as direct and indirect labour at higher organisational levels.
- Build schedules and determine staffing needs for the assigned area.
- Recruit, develop, and assess team members to keep the function running effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Robotics & Smart System is preferred.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and openness to learning new software tools is needed.
- Prior exposure to GMP is an advantage.
- Strong leadership ability is necessary to guide and grow a team.
- The role calls for someone self-driven, able to juggle multiple tasks, and effective in deadline-focused environments.
- Applicants should be willing to work night or day shifts and support overtime when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities are important.
- Advanced capability in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint is expected.
