Job Purpose
The Manager Channel Sales role is responsible for effectively managing partner relationships to boost walk-in traffic, order bookings, sales revenue, unit sales, and collections within assigned projects, adhering to budget and timelines.
Key Accountabilities
- Achieve targeted sales value (in crores) and unit volume as per defined goals (sales represented as net order book).
- Meet monthly sales booking targets for assigned channels while contributing to site margin and planned objectives.
- Enhance efficiency of customer walk-ins and closures at project sites through diligent monitoring and tracking.
- Develop and expand new sales channels to broaden channel distribution pipelines.
- Continuously track competitor actions within operating micro-markets and provide timely feedback reflecting market dynamics.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and departments to improve channel activities and customer experience at the individual site level.
- Design and implement site-specific plans and initiate below-the-line (BTL) promotional activities as needed.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Prioritize channel development by forging strong partnerships across the region.
- Serve as an essential liaison between various channels and closure managers to generate robust customer walk-ins.
- Assess and enhance the effectiveness of channel sales at each site by identifying, developing, and allocating channels intelligently.
- Maintain accurate records of conducted activities and meetings.
- Recommend and implement strategies to sustain uninterrupted walk-in flow of the right customer segments for assigned project sites from multiple channels.
Operational Duties
- Manage all channel-related tracking tools and review mechanisms.
- Focus on developing both direct and unconventional sales channels.
Developmental Tasks
- Craft and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly action plans coordinated with marketing teams to ensure effective walk-ins and closures at the site.
- Manage knowledge sharing and training activities by identifying gaps and mapping required sessions.
- Design outreach initiatives aimed at channel development.
Internal and External Collaboration
- Internal interaction with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- External coordination with Corporates, High Net Worth Individuals, Brokers, Property Consultants, Customers, and Service Partners.
Eligibility, Education & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Marketing & Sales.
- 8-10 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets via channel partner networks.
- Proven ability to empanel high-performing channel partners.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach.
