Role Overview

As a Logistics & Hotel Coordinator, you will be integral in managing the flow of goods and inventory for the hotel. Your duties include overseeing deliveries, storage, and stock accuracy while assisting purchasing and finance functions. This position demands organization, precision, and a team-oriented attitude in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all loading dock activities, including coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments and courier pickups.
  • Receive, log, and distribute packages and goods promptly to hotel departments, guests, and residents.
  • Control loading dock access to authorized personnel such as suppliers and contractors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the loading dock area, assuring smooth delivery and dispatch operations.
  • Accurately maintain records of deliveries, dispatches, resident parcels, and collections.
  • Communicate with departments, residents, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate logistics requirements.
  • Manage waste, recycling, and service collection schedules when necessary.
  • Support guest services and hotel operations during quieter periods alongside the Duty Manager.
  • Handle resident parcel management in accordance with hotel and residence procedures.
  • Keep the Residence Mailing Room neat and organized.
  • Work alongside suppliers to rectify invoice and merchandise discrepancies, reporting these to management.
  • Perform inventory audits to assess current stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages promptly.
  • Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and assist finance or purchasing teams with delivery-related queries.

Candidate Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and high accuracy level.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, able to prioritize tasks within deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Physical fitness to manage occasional heavy lifting requirements.
  • Capacity to work both independently and cooperatively in teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills required.
