Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all laundry operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
• Lead training and orientation for new laundry team members; conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance performance and uphold service standards.
• Demonstrate proper task execution as detailed in job descriptions to team members to reinforce service quality.
• Maintain continuous coordination and communication with other hotel departments to facilitate smooth laundry operations.
• Develop and organize daily work plans, including special events and reporting requirements based on hotel occupancy levels.
• Assign, supervise, and monitor daily work schedules, tasks, and reports among laundry staff.
• Inspect laundry hosts' work to ensure the highest levels of orderliness, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness; provide hands-on help when necessary.
• Ensure all laundry equipment and machinery are well-maintained, clean, and properly stored.
• Adhere strictly to Six Senses operational guidelines and service standards, routinely exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Follow Laundry Quality Assurance (LQA) standards and take guest feedback seriously to maintain excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma or degree from an accredited institution is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within luxury hotel operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with hotel management systems such as POS (Point of Sale) and PMS (Property Management System).
• Comprehensive understanding of laundry procedures and linen care.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
• Compliance with visa/work permit regulations and any mandatory certifications (e.g., COVID vaccinations) as per legal requirements.
