Job Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: $15 per hour
- Payment Frequency: Weekly
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of various floor types including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
- Utilize chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to avoid damage to surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, meeting areas, hallways, and entrances.
- Dispose of waste appropriately, including the use of compactors where applicable.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with suitable products and tools.
- Spot-clean carpets and assist with deep cleaning like extraction and shampooing.
- Restock paper goods and sanitary supplies as needed.
- Adhere strictly to housekeeping schedules and protocols.
- Operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months’ janitorial experience.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous janitorial or cleaning role experience.
- Knowledge of custodial standards and commercial cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with floor care including buffing and waxing.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance.
